Pianist Pei-Yao Wang has widely in demand as a soloist, chamber musician, vocal coach as well as producer.
As a chamber musician, she has performed with numerous world renown string quartets as well as instrumentalist. As a graduate of the Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Young Artist Program, Ms. Wang has worked with various noted conductors, as well as over 30 opera productions in the US and Taiwan. Her involvement in the production of “Doctor Atomic” by John Adams received the Grammy Award in 2011.
Ms. Wang has commissioned and premiered over 20 solo and chamber works in the past. She made her conducting debut in 2017 at the National Concert Hall in Taipei, Taiwan, premiering 7 new vocal chamber works by Taiwanese female composers. In 2019-2020 season, Ms. Wang will be featured in performances around the world, including Netherlands, United States, Japan and China. In addition to performing, she served as the artistic director of the Yunlin Shine Foundation, hosting numerous concerts and cultural events throughout the year.
